About
At the age of 16, Jonathan's first film 'Boy From the Blue Room' won Best Documentary at the Australian Media Awards. Several shorts later including 'True Confessions of a Movie Addict', Jonathan graduated from News Limited AWARD School and AWARD Supergroup before being selected for the prestigious VCA straight out of high school.
Multiple award-winning short films 'Satisfaction' and 'Sogno D'Amore' paved the way to becoming Baz Luhrmann's protégé; working with Baz over a number of projects including 'La Boheme', the epic Chanel No 5 commercial; 'Alexander' (not made) and the inception of 'Australia'.
In addition to working as Executive Producer at Naked Communications, Jonathan has directed and produced many prominent commercials and music video clips. These can be viewed in the private section of this site.
Two feature films: 'Coming of Age' and 'Satisfaction' are in various stages of development; the former featured as a live script read at the Dungog Film Festival '09 and slated for production later this year.
